The Wall Street Journal says "Israel" will allow the US time to set up 12 air defense systems in the Middle East before invading the Gaza Strip.

"Israel's" ground invasion of the Gaza Strip will be delayed to give the United States the chance to transfer additional air defense systems into the Middle East, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources.

The US Department of State had previously stated that it would be transferring air defense assets to the Middle East to protect its troops and assets in the region.

WSJ says the US will deploy 12 air defense systems to counter attacks on its troops in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, concerned Israeli officials have agreed to delay an expected ground invasion of the Gaza Strip until the air defense systems are set up as early as later this week.

Unnamed US officials told the newspaper that the US expects its troops and bases to be attacked by several groups in the region when the ground invasion ensues.

"Israel" is also said to be taking this opportunity to retrieve some of the captives held by the Resistance in Gaza in exchange for humanitarian aid, which it has blocked off more than 2 million people for more than two weeks.

At least 24 US military personnel were wounded by successful attacks by Resistance factions in Iraq, in response to the ongoing massacres in Gaza.

The US has been a major backer of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, providing the Israeli war cabinet with the diplomatic, logistical, and military cover to carry out its crimes against the Palestinian people.

Earlier on Wednesday, the US Embassy in Kuwait issued a security alert confirming threats against US military bases in Kuwait, which were posted on X.

The embassy's statement read that it was "aware of threats made on social media by Alwiyat al-Waad al-Haq, a militia group in Iraq, against US military bases in Kuwait."

It added, "As a result, the US Embassy in Kuwait is limiting its activity on US military bases to essential and official events only," adding that US citizens are advised to "remain alert".

This comes after the Alwiyat al-Waad al-Haq (True Promise Brigades) who identify themselves as the "sons of the Arabian Peninsula" affirmed that "patience has limits in the face of what we are witnessing today against the Palestinian people," declaring that the group considers US bases in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates "legitimate targets".

The US-orchestrated war on Gaza might bring the Middle East into a regional war, as multiple officials that belong to the Axis of Resistance have warned against the continued massacring of the Palestinian people, promising to take further action.
