Raúl Holds Official Talks With President of Niger
Arm General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, held official conversations with the honorable Issoufou Mahamadou, President of the Republic of Niger, on an official visit to the country.
During the fraternal meeting, the two Presidents emphasized the good state of bilateral relations between both countries and discussed the development of regional integration projects in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Mahamadou was accompanied by Bazoum Mohamed, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration, and Nigeriens Abroad; as well as Saidou Sidibe, minister and chief of staff of the President of the Republic.
Participating on the Cuban side were compañeros José Ramón Machado Ventura, a vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers; Rogelio Sierra Díazinterior, minister of Foreign Relations, and Reinaldo Derivet Zarzabal, Cuban ambassador to Niger.
