Syrian Army Repels Attacks on Daraa and Hasaka, Targets Terrorists’ Positions in Other Areas

Units of the army and armed forces, aided by air force, continued Thursday targeting terrorists’ dens and gatherings, thwarting their attack- attempts to military posts in different areas in the country.
Daraa
SANA reporter in Daraa affirmed that Reports of some misleading media channels about the control of terrorist organizations on Daraa national hospital are baseless and untrue, and the hospital is under the Syrian army control.
Meanwhile, army units positioned in Daraa city foiled terrorists’ attempts to infiltrate into the city, inflicting them heavy losses.
The army foiled all infiltration attempts by terrorist organizations, killed hundreds of terrorists and injured many others as well as destroying large number of armored vehicles equipped with machine guns along Daraa al-Balad, al-Naema, al-Matahen, al-yadouda, al-Naziheen camp and Ataman in Daraa countryside.
Army units repelled terrorists who tried to attack a number of military posts in the countryside of the southern Daraa province, killing dozens of terrorists and destroying many of their armored vehicles, cannons and vehicles, a military source said on Thursday.
The army air force, meanwhile, targeted hideouts and gatherings of terrorists in al-Yadoudeh village, leaving many dead, the source told SANA, adding that 33 terrorists, most of them from Jabhat al-Nusra, were killed on al-Yadoudeh road, while 25 others were killed or injured to the north of the village, which is located in southwestern Daraa.
The air force also targeted hideouts for leaders of terrorist groups in al-Nueimeh town in the eastern countryside of the province. One of the hideouts was destroyed, and all those inside it were killed.
A terrorists’ vehicle was destroyed to the west of Atman town in the northern countryside.
Many terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in Khrab al-Shahm town and Tafas city to the northwest of Daraa city.
The source also said that an army unit carried out accurate operations against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in separate areas in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city of Daraa.
In the same context, SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that army units confronted a terrorists’ assault on Daraa city from four directions and inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists’ ranks.
The source clarified that the army units killed or injured terrorists who launched an attack from the sides of al-Yadoudeh suburb on various areas in Daraa al-Balad.
On a relevant note, a source in the province dismissed as untrue media reports saying that the terrorists have taken control of the Air Intelligence building and the adjacent al-Yarmouk mill, affirming that the situation in the city is under full control.
The source also categorically dismissed reports about terrorist organizations controlling Daraa-Damascus Highway which the source said is fully under the army’s control.
Army units repelled an attack by terrorists on the suburb at the Western entrance of Daraa city after killing many of the attacking terrorists as other units foiled an attack launched by terrorist organizations on other axes in the city, inflicting heavy losses on them.
The source said the army is confronting the terrorists attacking from the directions of al-Nueimeh and al-Nazihin Camp.
Homs
Army units targeted gatherings of terrorist organizations in Rajm al-Ali and Masaadeh in Jeb al-Jarrah area, 80 km to the east of Homs city in central Syria.
A number of terrorists were killed in the operations, which came after the army repelled an ISIS attack on several villages in the area yesterday.
In northern countryside of Homs province, army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in al-Tibeh and Tal Dahab villages in al-Houleh area, killing many terrorists and injuring others.
Hasaka
Members of national defense groups destroyed a vehicle, equipped with a heavy machine-gun, killed all terrorists onboard at al-Sharea roundabout in Hasaka.
Earlier, a unit of the army and armed forces working in Hasaka city, aided by popular defense groups and Interior Security Forces, are clashing with ISIS terrorists who infiltrated into al-Nashwa al-Gharbia neighborhood in Hasaka city last night.
SANA reporter quoted a source in the Province as saying that an army unit in cooperation with popular defense groups killed many ISIS terrorists and injured others in the aforementioned neighborhood to the southwest of Hasaka city.
The reporter added that information indicates that the terrorists are using the civilians as human shields and exposing them to danger.
ISIS terrorists commit heinous crimes in the areas they infiltrate into as they take hold of houses and loot properties.
Meanwhile, a source in the province said media outlets which are linked to terrorist organizations have reported false news about ISIS controlling al-Laylia neighborhood.
Raqqa
In the countryside of the northeastern province of Raqqa, army air force killed dozens of ISIS terrorists and destroyed a number of their vehicles in concentrated blows against their gatherings in the countryside of the province.
Aleppo
In the northern province of Aleppo, units of the army and armed forces destroyed, during their continued operations against Takfiri terrorism,dens and vehicles of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Aleppo and its countryside.
In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, army units killed ISIS terrorists and destroyed a number of their vehicles, arms and ammunition in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy and on Raqqa- Aleppo highway.
To the north of Aleppo city, a number of terrorists were killed, others were injured and their arms, ammunition and vehicles, some of which were equipped with machine guns, were destroyed during a special operation by the army against their dens in al-Meslemiya and Um al-Qura villages.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their arms and ammunition at the north side of al-Hajeb town in Aleppo countryside.

The army air force killed large numbers of terrorists, injured many others and destroyed their dens and vehicles in Ahsam, Kansafra, Sarakeb, Maasaran, Tamana’a, Houta and Shweiha in Idleb and its countryside.
