DPRK Army-People Meeting Held
An army-people meeting took place in Wonsan on June 4 to complete the construction of the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area till the Day of the Sun (April 15) of the following year, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung, true to the on-site instructions of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Present there were Vice-premier Ro Tu Chol who doubles as chairman of the State Planning Commission, officials concerned and military and civilian builders, as well as Army General Kim Su Gil, director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People’s Army, and other officers of armed forces organs.
Kim Su Gil delivered a report, which was followed by other speeches by Army Lieutenant General Kim Jong Gwan, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces; Kim Yong Ho, chief of the Secretariat of the Cabinet; Kim Yong Chol, director of High-Speed Youth Shock Brigade Guidance Bureau; and Choe Kum Hyok, KPA sergeant.
A resolution was adopted at the meeting.
