Germany Has Doors Open for Angola - President João Lourenço
Berlin - Angola found the doors open and a lot of goodwill on the part of the German government, a posture that enables the improvement of the bilateral relations, said last Wednesday in Berlin the Angolan President, João Lourenço.

Speaking to representatives of the Angolan communities in Germany and Czech Republic, President João Lourenço said that Angola wants to be as great as Germany, that is the reason why he is in this European country. 

“We came to join Germany so that we can also be strong”, said the Angolan President to a vast audience of Angolans, who cheered and clapped at his speech.

He went on to explain the efforts that the Angolan Executive has been making to improve the country’s economic situation and lay the basis for a development that can benefit all Angolan citizens.

João Lourenço also stressed the fact that the new Angolan government has carried out a series of reforms in the judicial system with the aim of seriously tackling impunity and corruption, which were ills that hindered a good economic development dynamics in the whole country.
