National Prosperity Depends on Implementing Historic Inter-Korean Declarations
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said in his New Year Address that in 2019 we should make greater strides in our efforts to boost inter-Korean relations, achieve peace and prosperity and reunify the country on the basis of the priceless achievements we made last year which was wonderfully adorned with unprecedented events.
Peace, reunification and prosperity of the Korean peninsula can be realized when all the people turn out in the drive to implement the historic north-south declarations made through several rounds of inter-Korean summit meetings and talks.
With a firm stand and attitude of solving all problems between the north and the south on the principle of By Our National Itself, we will further accelerate in high spirits the nationwide advance for implementing those declarations, and thus glorify this year as a historic one when another radical change will be brought about in the development of inter-Korean relations and implementation of the cause of national reunification.
