A military alliance between three West African states is seeking to bolster their defense against France and other imperialist states.

Known as the Liptako-Gourma Charter, all three Sahel states need to reestablish trade and security structures in the face of the western onslaught.

According to the promotional language on the Press TV website: "This edition of the program is about the unity among some African nations against foreign colonial attacks on their national integrity. Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso have signed an alliance against external colonial and imperial aggression on their national sovereignty and territorial integrity."

Azikiwe was joined on the program with Netfa Freeman of the Coordinating Committee Black Alliance for Peace (BAP).
