Numbers paint a horrific picture of what Israeli airstrikes and shelling of Gaza have done to the already besieged and isolated Strip. 400,000 have been displaced and many more are on the run while the number of dead and wounded is now measured in the thousands, mostly perished inside the over 1,300 buildings that have been destroyed so far according to the United Nations. Yet, the resistance continues…

Palestinian Ministry of Health: The number of Palestinians killed and wounded in the Israeli war on Gaza rose to 2,215 killed. 8,714 wounded. In the West Bank, 54 killed and more than 1,100 wounded.

ALJAZEERA CORRESPONDNETS IN GAZA

– One hundred Palestinians killed in Gaza in a single hour, including 20 people in a single strike in Deir al-Balah, 18 in Khan Younis (including three young brothers and a mother with all of her children.)

– Muslim authorities in Gaza issue a decree allowing Palestinians to bury their dead in mass grave, though traditionally it is not consistent with Islamic beliefs.

PALESTINIAN MEDICAL SOURCES:

– We will not leave the hospitals even if Israel continues to threaten to target all medical centers.

SAUDI ARABIA: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, developments in the situation in Gaza and its surroundings.

The Saudi News Agency “SPA” said that Prince Farhan urged his Chinese counterpart to work for the Security Council to fulfill its role in imposing a ceasefire in Gaza.

AJA: Israeli aircraft bombed Al-Mahatta area in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, with a number of missiles.

AJA: Two civilians killed in Israeli bombing of a residential building in Sheeba, Southern Lebanon.

AJA: 25 killed and 100 wounded in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Shati (Beach) refugee camp in Gaza.

RED CROSS: The Red Cross spokesman in Jerusalem told Al Jazeera that he is deeply concerned about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, stressing that the Red Cross is unable to deliver aid to the residents of the Strip.

US STATE DEPARTMENT: The US State Department said that Secretary Anthony Blinken discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, continued communication with regional partners to prevent the expansion of the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

YEDIOTH AHRONOTH: Israeli Military planes evacuated diplomats and foreign nationals from Israel.

ISRAELI ARMY: Israeli Air Force confirmed that it was continuing its attack on sites in southern Lebanon in response to the firing of 30 mortar shells towards Israel.

ISRAELI MEDIA: Dozens of Israelis demonstrated in front of the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv to demand the dismissal of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the release of prisoners in Gaza.

AL-QASSAM: The Al-Qassam Brigades said that it bombed Ben Gurion Airport with a missile salvo in response to the Israeli occupation’s targeting of civilians in Gaza.

TURKISH FM: We deplore Israel’s targeting of defenseless civilians in Gaza and look forward to a permanent solution in Palestine.

EGYPT: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that Egypt shares with Turkey our vision of the importance of working to overcome the dangerous effects of the Israeli bombing on the Palestinians in Gaza.

AJA: Al Jazeera’s correspondent confirmed hearing the sounds of large explosions in the sky of Tel Aviv after the Palestinian resistance announced the bombing of Greater Tel Aviv with missiles.

WHO: The Regional Director of the World Health Organization, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mandhari, told Al Jazeera that the evacuation of seriously ill patients from Gaza hospitals is tantamount to a death certificate.

GAZA HEALTH MINISTRY: The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that 10 paramedics were killed and 27 others were injured as a result of being directly targeted by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Ministry added in a statement that the occupation forces destroyed 23 ambulances since the start of the aggression and bombed 15 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, directly or indirectly, two of which stopped service.

BIDEN: US President Joe Biden said that Washington is working with Israel, Egypt, Jordan and the United Nations to resume the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and respect the laws of war.

UN SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR ALBANESE: The United Nations rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, warned of ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and called for an immediate ceasefire.

Albanese added that the great danger the sector is witnessing may be a repetition of the 1948 catastrophe and the 1967 catastrophe on a broader scale.

AJA: the Palestinian resistance launched new batches of missiles towards Zikim, Ashkelon, Sderot and other Israeli towns in the northern Gaza Strip, in response to the Israeli massacres against civilians.

AJA: Clashes between Hezobollan and Israeli forces with medium weapons and machine guns in the vicinity of the Israeli Ruwaisat al-Alam site in southern Lebanon.

BLINKEN: US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that it is very important to work with partners to avoid the extension of the current crisis in the Gaza Strip.

He added, “It is very important to protect civilians and we are working with partners to achieve this.”

KAMAL ADWAN HOSPITAL DIRECTOR: Israel’s order to evacuate the hospital is madness and is a death sentence for dozens of patients.

GAZA’S HEALTH MINISTRY: The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that dozens of Palestinians were killed and wounded in a new massacre in Deir al-Balah as a result of an Israeli bombing of a residential square.

ISRAELI CHANNEL 13: A-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, shot down a military helicopter on the first day of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7th.
