A spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza pleaded with Egypt to open the Rafah crossing to allow urgent medical supplies and a safe exit for thousands of wounded Palestinians.

The appeal was made against a backdrop of continued Israeli massacres that have reached hundreds of families across the Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces continued their attempts to penetrate Gaza from various directions to no avail.
