Iran Says Struck US Marine Base in Jordan with Ballistic Missiles

Iran says it struck Camp Titin in Jordan with ballistic missiles, while the Iranian Army reported attacks on US positions at Bahrain's Sheikh Isa Air Base.

Iranian forces said they carried out separate attacks against US military positions in Jordan and Bahrain, targeting a US Marine Corps base in Jordan with ballistic missiles and US facilities at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain with another operation.

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said it targeted a US Marine Corps base in Jordan known as Camp Titin with ballistic missiles, claiming the strike killed a large number of US forces and destroyed several important facilities and attack helicopters.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Army said it targeted radar installations and US troop gathering points at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain as part of the 29th phase of Operation Saegheh.

IRGC: Ballistic missiles struck Camp Titin

The IRGC said its forces targeted Camp Titin, a facility belonging to the US Marine Corps in Jordan, with ballistic missiles.

According to the IRGC, the strike resulted in the deaths of a large number of US forces stationed at the camp. It also said several important facilities and attack helicopters were destroyed in the attack.

The IRGC did not provide a specific figure for the number of US personnel it said were killed or give further details about the extent of the damage.

Tasnim: Camp Titin holds strategic importance

Iranian news agency Tasnim described Camp Titin as being located in a strategically important position at the northern end of the Red Sea, near the ports of Aqaba and Eilat.

The agency said the camp is located a short distance from the Saudi border and is suitable for US Marine Corps training and the protection of maritime infrastructure.

Tasnim said Camp Titin has particular importance for the US Marine Corps and for the rapid deployment of forces.

The agency further reported that the US had sought to deploy part of its forces at Camp Titin on the assumption that Iran did not possess complete intelligence on the facility.

Tasnim said the IRGC's strike demonstrated that it had detailed intelligence on US military movements, adding that the operation showed an extensive capability to target and surprise US forces.

The agency described the targeting of Camp Titin as a “special and strategic” step in the US-Israeli war against Iran.

Iranian Army: US positions targeted in Bahrain

The Iranian Army said it targeted radar installations and US troop gathering points at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain during the 29th phase of Operation Saegheh.

The Army described Sheikh Isa Air Base as one of the most important and sensitive US bases in the Gulf region.

It did not provide further details on the extent of the damage or casualties resulting from the attack.

Security-political sources told Al Mayadeen that the Iranian response during the night was “powerful, precise and destructive,” targeting US bases and military centers across the region.

The sources did not provide specific casualty figures or details on individual facilities targeted in the attacks.

US commits yet another massacre in Iran

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said a US attack on a residential house in Sirik, southern Iran, killed and wounded around 50 people, including a child, during a wedding ceremony.

In a statement, the IRGC Public Relations Department said the house had been hosting the marriage ceremony of a young couple when it was targeted in a brutal attack. It said the casualties had revived memories of the brutality of Minab School and Lamerd Stadium.

The IRGC said several people were killed in the attack, including a child, and accused the US military of demonstrating what it described as deep hostility toward the Iranian people.

US aggression expands across Iran

The latest attacks form part of an expanding US war on Iran, with Washington striking targets inside the Islamic Republic while simultaneously threatening further escalation should Tehran retaliate.

US aggression has included attacks on Iranian territory and targets in strategic areas along the country’s southern coast, bringing the confrontation increasingly close to the Strait of Hormuz. Washington has justified its actions through claims concerning Iranian activity in the strategic waterway and Tehran’s attacks on US military positions in the region.

The escalation has also placed growing pressure on US military assets and defensive capabilities. Iran’s sustained use of missiles and drones has forced US forces to expend costly air-defense interceptors while attempting to counter Iranian attacks, creating additional strain on American weapons stocks.
