Army Restores Security to More Villages in al-Qseir, Eliminates Terrorists in Several Areas

PROVINCES, (SANA) - Army units restored stability and security to al-Akkari farm and Tal al-Sur and continue hunting the fleeing terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh town in al-Qseir countryside in Homs.

Tunnels used by terrorists to move around and store weapons and munitions were uncovered in the western district of al-Qseir city, and tens of explosive devices planted by terrorists in homes and road were dismantled.

An Army unit restored security and stability to Akkari farm and Tal al-Sur after eliminating the last terrorist gathering there, dismantling tens of explosive devices planted by the terrorists, while other units continued hunting the fleeing terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh town in al-Qseir countryside.

Terrorist hideouts were destroyed in the villages and towns of Aqrab, Kisin, al-Ghanto, Talbiseh, al-Mashjar al-Janoubi, Beit Hajjo, al-Buwaida al-Sharqiya and al-Rastan in Homs countryside.

Among the terrorists killed in the aforementioned areas was Mohammad Abdelkader Shamsin, the leader of a terrorist group calling itself "Katibet Rijal Allah," and Khaled Mansour from a group called "Kata'ib al-Hamza."

An Army unit eliminated all members of a terrorist group which was blockading roads and committing acts of murder and robberies on the road between al-Dab'aa and Arjoun, destroying two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.

In Homs city, Army units killed a number of terrorists and injured others in the areas of al-Qarabis, al-Khalidiye, Jouret al-Shiyah, al-Hamidiyeh, al-Warsheh, and Basatin al-Waer. Among the terrorists who were killed was Anas Suwaibi, the leader of a terrorist group, and all the members of his group.

Terrorists' Infiltration Attempt from Lebanon Foiled in Talkalakh

In another context, an army unit on Tuesday foiled a terrorist group's infiltration attempt from the Lebanese territories through the sites of Halat, Ozeir and Oyoun al-Sha'ara in Talkalakh countryside.

An official source told SANA that most of the terrorists were killed or injured, as their vehicles and weapons were destroyed.

The source added that an army unit killed terrorist Ahmad Bdaw Ayoub and six members of his group near the junction of Ghajar village in al-Rastan and seized their weapons.

Army Units Clash with Terrorists, Kill Many in Damascus and Its Countryside

Meanwhile, a unit of the armed forces clashed with an armed terrorist group near al-Manasher roundabout in Joubar neighborhood in Damascus Countryside, leaving most of its members killed and injured.

SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that the clashes resulted in destroying the terrorist group's gatherings and seizing the weapons and ammunition the terrorists had with them.

The source added that other army units continued hunting terrorists in the farms surrounding Tishreen Hospital and Dahr al-Mastah in Barzeh neighborhood in Damascus and killed a number of them.

Army units eliminated a number of terrorists in Harasta area, including two terrorist group leaders; Osama Omar al-Jabaji and Iyad Rahim.

In al-Ebb farms in Douma area, an Army unit carried out a special operation in which it destroyed a terrorist gathering along with the weapons and munitions in it, eliminating a number of terrorists including Abdellatif al-Debs.

An Army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists in Erbin area, including Ahmad al-Buqai'I and Omar al-Haj, while other units continued pursuing terrorists in the farms around the towns of al-Jarba, al-Bahariya and Qisa, eliminating a number of them including Ahmad Hijazi, the leader of a terrorist group.

In al-Mlaiha, an Army unit pursued a terrorist group east of Tameco pharmaceutical factory, eliminating some of its members including Haitham al-Harastani and Mahmoud al-Tounsi.

In the town of Hejjeira, a weapons and munitions cache was destroyed and a number of terrorists were eliminated, one of which was identified as Mohammad Deeb al-Bassal.

Units of the armed forces eliminated numbers of terrorists in al-Nabek, Haramleh and Jobar in Damascus countryside.

An official source told SANA that clashes between a unit of the armed forces and a terrorist group in the area surrounding al-Nabek city left several terrorists dead, among them 'Subhi al-Zirai' and 'Khaled al-Tayyip.'

The source added that a number of terrorists, among them a sniper, were killed near Haramleh tunnel to the east of Zamalka in an operation that also destroyed terrorists' weapons and armor.

The source added that ongoing operations in Jobar destroyed a weapons' cache and ammunition for terrorists and killed many, among them Youssef Makka.

Army Destroys Two Car Bombs in Harasta, Damascus Countryside

An army unit on Wednesday destroyed two car bombs on Harasta-Damascus road, killing all the terrorists inside.

An official source told SANA reporter that a Mercedes loaded with 700 kg. of explosives was destroyed near Daya Company and another car loaded with 600 kg. of explosives was also destroyed near Cars showroom in the city of Harasta in Damascus Countryside.

Earlier on Tuesday, an army unit destroyed a car loaded with 1000 kg. of explosives near the Water Establishment in Harasta.

Army Destroys Weapons Caches, Eliminated Terrorists in Aleppo Province

The Army destroyed a warehouse containing large amounts of weapons and munitions in the farms between the towns of Hayyan and Hreitan in Aleppo countryside, in addition to eliminating terrorist on al-Bab road.

Army units also killed and injured terrorists near the agriculture department building, the MTN center, the glass factory, al-Khoulandi gas station and Somar restaurant in the area around Aleppo Central Prison.

Also near Aleppo Central Prison, another Army unit destroyed a warehouse in which terrorists stored weapons and munitions near the iron factory and a bulldozer rigged with explosives near al-Hashem mill and killed terrorists who were near the bulldozer, including a Jordanian called Mohammad al-Hindi who was referred to as the "revolution intelligence officer."

Other units eliminated terrorist groups west of Mennegh airport and near the Mennegh agricultural research center, and another unit destroyed vehicles along with the weapons, munitions and terrorists inside them on the road between Aleppo and al-Atareb and the road between Kafernaha and Aleppo.

In Aleppo city, Army units clashed with terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh, al-Marjeh and Baidin roundabouts, eliminating a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.

Army Units Eliminate Terrorists in Deir Ezzor

An Army unit clashed with terrorist groups in al-Sina'a and al-Jamiyat neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city, inflicting heavy losses upon them and destroying their weapons and munitions.

Khalifa Rakan al-Khalifa was identified among the terrorists who were killed in this clash.

In Deir Ezzor countryside, another Army unit destroyed a terrorist hideout in the village of al-Mrai'iya, leaving all the terrorists inside it dead or injured.

In the town of al-Mayadin, a fight broke out between two terrorist groups after a dispute over stolen items and funds, resulting in dozens of terrorists being wounded and killed, among them Muaz al-Mjabbel, a leader of one of the groups.
