U.S. Accused of Stirring Up War Atmosphere In Korean Peninsula

U.S. Accused of Stirring up War Atmosphere

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The U.S. staged another joint naval exercise with the super-large nuclear-powered carrier Nimitz strike group involved in the East and South seas of Korea despite the unanimous protest and denunciation of the DPRK and other peace-loving people of the world.

The U.S., however, let loose such rhetoric that there was no problem as it was an "annual" and "defensive" one.

Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This was a revelation of extreme arrogance of the U.S. and a vivid manifestation of its nature as a burglar turning black into white.

It is well known that the U.S. entirely to blame for escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula has talked like a monk's chanting prayers about someone's "provocation" in a sinister bid to brand the DPRK as a criminal.

Had the U.S. wanted to see the detente and peace on the peninsula, it would have refrained from staging the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises extremely rattling the nerves of the DPRK.

But no one can notice such logical behavior on the part of the U.S.

It stands for a war, not peace, and for escalated tension, not detente. That is why it keeps fanning up the war atmosphere by mobilizing latest warships and task forces.

This made the DPRK draw a conclusion that it did not misjudge the U.S.

The DPRK will remain unchanged in its will for toughest counteractions against the U.S. as long as the latter persistently sticks to its hostile policy toward the former.

U.S. and S. Korean Regime Accused of Shifting Blame for Deteriorated Situation onto DPRK

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the south Korean regime are urging the DPRK to "stop provocation", saying the tension on the Korean Peninsula has eased somewhat since the end of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle.

Minju Joson Tuesday in a bylined commentary terms this a base chicanery of the U.S. and the south Korean regime to hide their true colors as war maniacs and brand the DPRK as a provocateur by falsifying the stark reality and misleading the public opinion.

The commentary goes on:

The peninsula is still in perilous situation due to the provocative north-targeted war drills and arms buildup of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet trigger-happy forces.

Nevertheless, the U.S. and the puppet forces, the masterminds who have strained the situation, being hell-bent on provocation, are urging the DPRK to "stop provocation".

This is, indeed, a brazen-faced behavior.

It is very foolish of the U.S. and the south Korean regime to try to bring down the DPRK by force of arms.

If they provoke a war, they will perish in the flames kindled by them.

Koreans in China Hold U.S. and S. Korean Regime Chiefly Accountable for Military Provocations

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the General Association of Koreans in China made public a statement "What do the ceaseless DPRK-targeted war exercises imply?" on May 14.

The statement accused the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces of staging large-scale joint naval maneuvers targeted against the DPRK together with south Korean puppet army in the East Sea of Korea with a nuclear carrier flotilla involved.

The U.S. nuclear carrier task force, a force huge enough to carry out a nuclear war, entered Pusan Port for joint naval maneuvers, the statement said, and went on:

They sparked off worldwide concern and criticism as they further escalated the tension on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities painted these ceaseless war drills against the DPRK staged with all sorts of aggression forces involved as "annual" ones for "defensive purposes." This rhetoric only self-exposed that they were none other than warmongers and military provocateurs who have steadily escalated the tension on the Korean Peninsula by staging such large-scale military drills every year.

What merits a serious attention is that the U.S. imperialist aggressors staged even a large-scale north-targeted saber-rattling by introducing a super-large nuclear carrier into south Korea right after the south Korean chief executive's trip to the U.S.

This goes to prove that her trip was aimed to consult with her master over a war scenario to stifle the DPRK.

Korean Organizations in China Support DPRK's Military Steps

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Korean organizations in China supported the "Appeal to all Koreans" made public by the Information Department of the Central Committee of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front through website "By our nation itself."

The Shenyang branch of the General Association of Koreans in China in a statement on May 15 said that the Korean Peninsula has been put in the state of war due to the war exercises of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet war-like forces against the DPRK.

In case the second Korean war breaks out on the peninsula it would bring unspeakable destruction and genocide incomparable with that in the last century, it noted.

Fully supporting the military steps taken by the DPRK, the statement stressed Koreans in China would turn out as one in the just struggle for frustrating the DPRK-targeted war moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers and bringing earlier the day of reunified Korea together with the people in the homeland all out in confrontation with the U.S. by tightly holding nuclear deterrence for self-defence as a treasured sword for defending the nation.

The Liaoning Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China in a statement on May 16 said that the war hysteria of the U.S. which staged drills for attacking the DPRK with nuclear carriers involved meant the height of last-ditch efforts of the bellicose forces to stifle it by force of arms, an indication that the U.S. remains unchanged in its ambition to invade it, the statement added.

Whoever loves peace against war will never remain a passive onlooker to the reckless acts of the war-thirsty forces, it noted, calling on all Koreans to turn out in the resistance against the U.S., chieftain of war of aggression.

It also appealed to them to turn out in the struggle against pro-U.S. war maniacs.
It called on all Koreans to support the DPRK's measures for self-defence.

S. Korea's Servile Diplomacy Will Invite Disgrace: KCNA Commentary

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The aftermath of the U.S. trip by the south Korean chief executive is increasingly getting serious.

She applauded the visit, claiming "package strategic alliance", "core axis" and "tightening of ties sealed in blood" but the fact is quite contrary to it.

She personally called on her staff to take follow-up measures as regards "agreements", a clear indication of serious problems that occurred during the visit.

Problem is that there is no clear proposal to any matter even though she set about to implement those agreements at Washington's beck and call. Even though "agreements" were made on lots of issues, there were no substantial results.

On top of that, the sex scandal in which her suite member was involved was accused as an unprecedented happening in the international history of diplomacy which plunged Chongwadae into havoc.

This is an unavoidable result of her acts of sycophantic treachery.

As well known, the U.S. trip by her was, in a word, a mendicant trip reflective of her servile diplomacy. During her visit she won assurances for her five years' stay in power and protection for existence in return for her virulent rhetoric against the DPRK and commitment to cooperate for confrontation with the DPRK.

Throughout her trip, she trumpeted confrontation policy called "trust process" little different from traitor Lee Myung Bak's watchwords of "no nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars" and made such nonsensical remarks as "north's dismantlement of nuclear program" and "provocation".

Serious is that she talked about "unattainable goal" apparently referring to the DPRK's line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the nuclear force up-building. She made no scruple of making rubbish, crying out for "change" more often than not.

But the master's attitude was generally cold despite her virulent remarks. It was because she went to meet her master without any proposals for helping his DPRK policy get out of labyrinth despite his hints on several occasions in the past.

This was clearly proved by disrespectful treatment accorded to her from humble reception at the airport to the departure and different statement of stand.

A typical example is the gun salute during her visit to the Arlington National Cemetery.

The participants were the U.S. ambassador to south Korea and a few Americans. The gun salute was, in fact, for the dead in the Korean war and other aggression wars rather than for the visitor.

But she courted the U.S. favor, calling the U.S. forces in south Korea "good friends" and an American family that has lived in south Korea for three generations since the Korean war a "living witness of the six decades of south Korea-U.S. alliance" and praising their "dedication".

The same is the case with her speech at U.S. Congress.

Even though the U.S. ruler said it was an honor bestowed upon only close friends, it was, in actuality, a shame on her.

As reported by the puppet media, such a floor was given only to Lee Myung Bak, die-hard sycophantic traitor. The south Korean chief executive was made to take the floor in a place little different from a confirmation hearing which even nominees for high-ranking posts of the U.S. administration are reluctant to. It was aimed to review her policy proposals and to have general idea of her.

The joint press conference, in particular, was a theatre that revealed the master-servant relationship between the U.S. and south Korea and the servile nature of the trip, as was commented by foreign media and experts.

At the press conference, the U.S. president complimented the stand specified by her to tighten cooperation for confrontation with the north but as for other issues he only made brief comments as such that it was an issue which he had already thought of and that he has similar idea.

But when it turned to south Korea's disagreement on the participation in the U.S.-led missile defense system, the U.S. president said that they will make joint investment of capabilities and technology in missile defense and thus conduct joint operations with success. This pushed the stooge into predicament.

When she was embarrassed, he coaxed her like a little girl, saying that she has understood the realistic situation even though conflict was unavoidable.

Commenting on this, media and the public said it was a "courtesy" and "pressure" at the same time, reflecting U.S.-style arrogance of pressing others to accept its demand.

Toward the end of the trip, the master fed the media the sex scandal by a high-ranking official of Chongwadae, thus attaching a disgraceful tag to south Korea.

The south Korean chief executive deserved such a treatment for her mendicant trip.

The international public, describing the trip, remarked "an ambiguous part in the U.S.-south Korea summit", "impossible 'Seoul process' initiative" and "'Northeast Asia peace initiative' that can hardly elicit U.S. support".

All facts prove that she can gain nothing from collusion with the U.S. and confrontation with fellow countrymen but only denunciation from the nation and contempt from her master.

It is the south Korean chief executive herself who is standing at the crossroads of outsiders or the nation and confrontation or reunification.

She should clearly understand that she can not evade a tragic end as her predecessors if she presses ahead with her master's hostile and war policy toward the DPRK, oblivious of the lesson taught by history.
