COSATU Mpumalanga Accelerates its Elections Campaign in Support of the ANC Decisive Victory in the Elections

The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Mpumalanga is convening extra -ordinary meetings to mobilize its members and the general public to support the African National Congress in the 2016 Local Government Elections. The COSATU campaign includes blitzes at taxi ranks, bus ranks, malls and the door to door campaign. On the 12 and14 July 2016 COSATU in Mpumalanga will convene Regional Shopsteward Council meetings which will be addressed by the COSATU National Office Bearers.
Workers who are COSATU members in Mpumalanga have vowed to defend the African National Congress because it is the only political organisation that truly represents the aspirations of the working class and the poor. COSATU cadres have since the beginning of the Local Government Elections campaign criss-crossed the width and the breadth of the province campaigning for the African National Congress to achieve 90% electoral support in the elections.
The Shopsteward council meetings will be held as follows.
NKANGALA REGIONAL SHOPSTEWARD COUNCIL MEETING

Venue : Lynnville Hall
The meeting will be addressed by the COSATU 2nd Deputy President Comrade Zingiswa Losi and will start with the blitzes at the short distance and long distance taxi ranks in Witbank.
GERT SIBANDE SHOPSTEWARD COUNCIL MEETING
Date : 12 July 2016
Time : 11H00-14H00
Venue : SASOL CLUB -Embalehle
The meeting will be addressed by the COSATU Deputy General Secretary Cde Solly Phetoe and will start with the blitzes at the Embalehle mall and taxi rank.
EHLANZENI REGIONAL SHOPSTEWARD COUNCIL

The meeting will be addressed by the Alliance Leaders and will start with the blitzes at the KaNyamazane mall and the local taxi rank.
