Ten Citizens Injured by Mortar Shells in Damascus

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- Terrorists on Sunday fired mortar shells which fell in Kiwan area,the perimeter of the Ministry of Higher Education, and al-Abasiyeen area in Damascus.
Reporting from Kwian area, SANA's correspondent said that mortar shells fell in the residential neighborhood of Zqaq al-Sakhr, causing minor injuries to five citizens, burning four private cars that were parked in the street, and causing a fire to break out in the area resulting in thick smoke.
The correspondent said that a mortar shell fell in the perimeter of the Ministry of Higher Education, injuring five citizens and causing material damage to two cars.
A source at the police command said that terrorists fired three mortar shells at al-Abasiyeen area, with the shells falling between Time Center mall and al-Abasiyeen gas station, causing only material damage.
