Demonstration Against Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr at Motor City Casino Hotel, 11:00 a.m.
Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr will be talking to the big business moguls at the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday, October 3. They will continue their efforts to steal pensions, cut wages and benefits, destroy unions and sell off city assets.
Latest plans include approval by the Obama administration to take money that was supposed to keep people in their homes and give it to sub-prime predatory lender Gilbert to tear down thousands of those homes!
Join us to protest these plans. Thursday, October 3, from 11 AM to Noon outside the Motor City Casino Hotel - corner of Temple Street and Brooklyn St., one block west of Grand River Avenue.
Protest called by Moratorium NOW Coalition and Stop Theft of Our Pensions Committee.
Call 313-680-5508 for more information.
