Five Days For the Cuban Five Begins in Washington

A five day event in solidarity with the Cuban Five begins today, June 4, in the U.S. capital with the participation of supporters from over 40 countries.
Numerous activities will continue through June 11 to increase pressure on the Obama administration to find a definitive solution to the case and free the three Cubans who remain imprisoned after more than 15 years, Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino and Antonio Guerrero.
Scheduled to take place, among other events, are a June 5-6 conference entitled ‘A new era in US-Cuba relations’ and a protest in front of the White House on Saturday, June 7.
