We will feature our regular PANW reports with dispatches on developments in South Africa where unrest on campuses has rocked the country precipitating the closure of three universities; the African Union is encouraging greater investment in immunization throughout the continent; the new United States ambassador to Zimbabwe has been criticized for Washington's continuing maintenance of sanctions against the Southern African state; and war crimes committed by counter-revolutionary elements in the North African state of Libya have been condemned internationally.
In the second hour we continue our focus on the 90th anniversary of the founding of African American History Month with an interview with host Abayomi Azikiwe over Community Public Radio during the week on the role of the U.S. government in the overthrow of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah five decades ago and the role of African Americans in his political and ideological development.
Finally we look more into the details of the unrest which has shut down campuses in South Africa.
