President John Dramani Mahama has been referred to the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah due to the invest in ''massive infrastructure'' by his administration.

Communication directors of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described President Mahama as Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

According to them, there is much similarity between the late Nkrumah and President Mahama.

In a recent interview with Rainbow Radio, Hon. Theopilus Tetteh Chai, Member of Parliament(MP) for Ablekumah Central said, ''the President actually knows what he is doing. His vision for the country is similar to the vision of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Anytime I see President Mahama, i see Kwame Nkrumah.''

But a former legislator under the administration of Ghana 's First President and a member of the Council of Elders for the Convention People's Party (CPP) says, there is no similarity between President Mahama and Osagyefo Nkrumah as he is affectionately called.

Madam Elizabeth Enning argues, the achievements under President Mahama do not even come close to what the late Acheampong achieved for him to compare himself to Kwame Nkrumah.

"What are you guys talking about; What similarities? There is no similarity between President Mahama and the former President. Compare Acheampong's achievements to that of President Mahama and you will see that he has not done even a quarter of what Acheampong did. Where is that similarity between President Mahama and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah?... He doesn't come anywhere near Dr. Kwame Nkrumah".

Madam Elizabeth Enning in an interview with Rainbow Radio's morning show host Kwame Tutu said, the current administration have not achieved anything that comes near their former and late leader, for them to make claims that their achievements is similar to Nkrumah.

When asked if she was failing to recognize the efforts of the President Mahama, she posited that ''the NDC has done nothing to compare itself to Kwame Nkrumah since there is economic hardship, energy crisis, and corruption in his government.''

The average Ghanaian she explained is struggling to survive under this incompetent administration presided over by President Mahama.

The NDC she emphasized lacks vision, direction and pragmatic solutions to Ghana's challenges. With the perennial flooding, outbreak of communicable diseases, collapse of businesses, President Mahama stands no where near Kwame Nkrumah.

''President Mahama is incompetent, and I'm not mincing words or afraid of President Mahama to call him incompetent because he cannot manage this country. He has failed. He has no vision as a leader.''
