Another Great Victory in Showdown With US
All the citizens of the DPRK are filled with great joy over the successful test-launch of intercontinental ballistic rocket Hwasong-14.
Han Un Hui, a writer of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea, said:
With the possession of ICBM as well as A-bomb and H-bomb, the DPRK reached a higher level in its overall strength and strategic position.
Seeing with great joy the televised test-fire of Hwasong-14 capable of hitting the US mainland, I feel the pride of being a citizen of a full-fledged nuclear power that possesses the ICBM.
Indeed, the great success in the test-fire is a demonstration of the dignity and inexhaustible power of the great Paektusan nation that regards independence as its life and soul, and another victory in the showdown with the imperialists and the US.
My country is, in fact, a fortress of anti-imperialist independence, a fortress of socialism that no formidable enemy dares provoke, as it is the one and only country that distresses the US which any country in the world dare not castigate though condemning its high-handed and arbitrary practices.
My country will never step back even an inch from bolstering up its nuclear force as long as the US hostile policy and nuclear threat to the DPRK are definitely terminated. And the world will clearly see how strong pluck and grit it has.
