KADUNA-ORGANISED Labour in the nation’s Textile industry, yesterday, said though the outcome of the National Assembly’s Polls was laudable, but declared that until all the general elections were successfully conducted in the same spirit, Nigerians should not yet celebrate.

It commended President Goodluck Jonathan and Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Attahiru Jega, for the success of the National Assembly, saying the President so far delivered on his promise of free and fair election.

Under the aegis of the National Union of Textile, Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, NUTGTWN, also praised the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Demeji Bankole, noting Bankole is the real hero of the poll for not only acknowledging an electoral loss, but promptly saluted his opponent who won despite the close contest.
