The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the African National Congress National Elective Conference where a new leadership of the Republic of South Africa's ruling party will be selected; another bombing has been carried out against a police academy in the Horn of Africa state of Somalia; opposition parties and coalitions in the West African state of Togo has called for regional assistance in resolving a political standoff with the government of President Faure Gnassingbe; and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will soon pay a state visit to the Republic of Sudan.

In the second hour we will look at the Extraordinary Congress of the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front Party (ZANU-PF).
