Senior CPC official meets Zimbabwean guests

BEIJNG, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Friday called on China and Zimbabwe to promote an all-weather friendship.
Guo Jinlong, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks while meeting with a delegation led by Rugare Gumbo, a member of the Political Bureau of the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) Central Committee.
Guo, also Beijing's Party chief, said the two countries have traditional friendship and both China and Zimbabwe are committed to national development and rejuvenation.
Guo said the CPC is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges and share experiences with ZANU-PF.
Gumbo appreciated China's long-term support for Zimbabwe's revolution and construction. Zimbabwe is willing to enhance party-to-party,government-to-government and people-to-people communication with China.
