Since early this year the Obama administration has escalated tensions and conflict in Ukraine. The destabilization and overthrow of the elected government in Kiev is designed to weaken and antagonize the Russian Federation.
Our program today features a report on the developing crisis in Ukraine and its implications for United States-Russian relations as well as the overall stability of the Peninsula and the entire Eurasian continent. The sheer desperation of U.S. imperialism is illustrated clearly in the risk that the Obama administration is willing to take in order to advance the interests of Wall Street and the Pentagon.
In the second hour of our program we discuss Africa Liberation Day 2014. Our two guests, Lee Robinson and Anthony Williams are organizers for the All-African People's Revolutionary Party Guinea-Conakry (A-APRP-GC).
This year represents the 51st anniversary of the formation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU). Africa Liberation Day has been commemorated throughout the world since 1963.
