We will feature reports on Zimbabwe's participation in the United Nations Conference this week in New York on the Sustainable Development Goals; the leaders of South Africa and Namibia have pledged to strengthen their bi-lateral ties during a meeting Windhoek; Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff charged wealthy oligarchs with plotting to remove her from office in the South American state; and the Cuban Communist Party concluded its 7th Congress on April 19 in Havana.

In the second hour we look at the contributions of African American artist Prince who was found dead on April 21 and his decades-long battle with the recording industry in the United States.
