Nasrallah: Syria Moving Steadily Towards the Final Victory
16 August، 2019
Beirut, SANA – Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, said that Syria has withstood the universal war that targeted it and is now moving steadily towards the final victory.
In a speech on Friday during an event commemorating the 13th anniversary of the victory against the Israeli aggression in 2006, Nasrallah said that the war on Lebanon in 2006 was waged following an American decision, and Israel was merely a tool, as this decision along with the US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq were part of the plan to establish a “new Middle East.”
He asserted that the resistance is still strong and if the Israeli enemy decides to wage war again, the resistance will defeat it, as the resistance works around the clock to be at the highest level of readiness.
Nasrallah noted that the Israeli enemy failed to end the resistance axis, as resistance is still continuing in Gaza, while Syria is moving steadily towards the final victory.
