Khartoum (smc) Sudan Vision Daily
President of the Republic Omer Hassan Al Bashir affirmed the importance of the African states cooperation to confront the colonial domination of the great powers.
He added, after meeting in his office yesterday the delegation of the ruling party in Ivory Coast (The Popular Front Party), that the great powers which colonized the African continent in the past are now playing the same game in creating hostility between the people of the same African country.
Al Bashir affirmed Sudan's support to Ivory Coast politics and the government keenness to boost the economical and commercial relations with the African states.
On his part the Ivory Coast delegation chaired by the former Prime Minister denounced the ICC decisions and its targeting of the African head of states, questioning the stance of the ICC on the human rights violations in all parts of the world.
The delegation affirmed that all the powers targeting Sudan are attempting to destroy the African continent unity and stability.
The head of the delegation said that they came to Sudan to support the AU stance rejecting the ICC decisions, describing its stances as violating the international charters and Sudan's sovereignty.
The delegation conveyed the congratulation of the Ivory Coast government and people to the President for winning the Presidential elections adding that they are looking for signing a MoU to support the relations between the two nations.
