Political Program Implementation Committee Meets Socialist Unionists Party

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- The ministerial committee in charge with implementing the political program to solve the crisis in Syria on Wednesday met with members of the politburo of the Socialist Unionists Party, headed by Assistant Secretary General, Adnan Ismael.
Prime Minister, Wael al-Halqi, the committee's head, said the goal of these consultation meetings held by the government with the various political, social and civil forces is to secure the requirements of dialogue being the only way to emerge from the crisis.
He referred to the measures which the government has taken to communicate with the Syrians abroad and ensure the guarantees for their return so as to participate in the dialogue.
For his part, Ismael expressed his Party's support for the political program, hailing the ministerial committee's efforts to make the national dialogue a success and the role of the armed forces in confronting the terrorist groups.
Afterwards, members of the Party's politburo presented their vision to ensure the success of the dialogue focusing on the need to combat the takfiri thinking and bolstering the culture of amity among member of the society.
They slammed Turkey and some Arab and Western countries in the military escalation in service of the Zionist U.S. project in the region.
A constructive discussion took place during the meeting which ended in reaching common denominators and mechanisms that would enrich the process of democratic dialogue and lead to a real translation of the national dialogue.
In a statement to journalists following the meeting, Ismael affirmed that his party's vision of dialogue contains common denominators that unite all Syrians on national interests, sovereignty, and restoring security and stability to Syria.
He said that the meeting tackled issues of interests to Syrian citizens and their concerns, in addition to means to emerge from the crisis and overcoming its effects, affirming that the dialogue is the only way to resolve the crisis despite the attempts to thwart it by some sides that don't want a political solution.
