Yazji and al-Qadri: Al-Dwair Makeshift Center is Ready to Receive Civilians Fleeing Ghouta

Damascus Countryside, SANA – Minister of Health Nizar Yazji and Minister of Social Affairs Rima al-Qadri inspected on Sunday the makeshift center which is prepared to receive civilians fleeing Ghouta through the safe corridor of al-Wafdeen Camp in Damascus Countryside.

Al-Dwair makeshift center is fully equipped to meet all the needs of the civilians escaping from Ghouta, Minister of Health said, adding that the center has been provided with vaccines and various medicines in addition to a medical team providing its services to all residents of Al-Dwair, and it is also ready to receive civilians of Ghouta at the safe corridor and move them to the center and provide them with all necessary needs and accommodation requirements.

Yazji also confirmed that the government is providing the center with all requirements, including rooms and beds that are needed to support the families escaping from the terrorist groups operating in Ghouta.”

In turn, al-Qadri said that she was briefed on the services offered by the center to meet the needs of the civilians coming from Ghouta and the preparation to provide psychological support to them especially those with disabilities and children who have suffered a lot from the terrorist groups positioned in Ghouta.

Six days since the opening of the safe corridor at al-Wafdeen Camp and despite the truce, the terrorist groups are still preventing civilians from leaving the area through targeting the corridor during the time specified to evacuate civilians, from 9 am to 2 pm, to keep them as human shields inside Ghouta.
