President of Republic Arrives in Windhoek On State Visit to Namibia

Windhoek (Namibia), May 28, 2018 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, arrived Sunday afternoon in Windhoek on a state visit to the Republic of Namibia for three days at the invitation of his Namibian counterpart, Hage G. Geingob.

Upon his arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, the President of Republic was greeted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitawah, Defense Minister Penda Ya Ndakolo, members of the Namibian Government and Saharawi Ambassador Bah Dih Sheikh Mohamed.

The President of Republic will be received by his Namibia counterpart, Hage G. Geingob. Both sides will discuss bilateral relations and and means to strengthen them.

The President of the Republic will host a conference on the latest developments of the Western Sahara issue and prospects for the completion of the process of decolonization of the last colony in Africa.

The President of the Republic is accompanied by a delegation comprising Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed-Salem Ould Salek, Minister of Cooperation, Bulahi Mohamed-Fadel, Secretary of State for Documentation and Security, Brahim Mohamed-Mahmoud, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for Angola and Namibia, Bah Dih Sheikh, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malanin Lakhal, in addition to Soukeina Larbas and Aminatou Sweidat, from Office of the President of the Republic.
