DPRK Celebrates Its 69th Founding Anniversary
The Korean army and people significantly celebrated the 69th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
They visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the highest temple of Juche, to pay tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Servicepersons, civilians of various circles and youth and schoolchildren across the country laid floral baskets and bouquets at the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits.
Art performances were given with splendour in Pyongyang and provinces.
Dancing parties of youth and students and members of the women's union were staged to rev up the festive mood.
