Seminar Delineates Army-building Exploits
A seminar in the sector of social sciences took place at the Korean Revolution Museum to delineate the undying exploits performed by the peerlessly great men for the building and strengthening of Juche-type regular revolutionary armed forces.
It was attended by Ri Hye Jong, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and lecturers, researchers, journalists, editors and officials from the sectors of science, education, the media and revolutionary relics, and Party cadre training institutions.
Speakers said that President Kim Il Sung’s idea of building regular armed forces by developing the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army into the Korean People’s Army is the perfect army-building idea which formulated the essence and mission of the revolutionary armed forces and their lawful building steps and methods in a scientific manner. And it is also an idea of founding a powerful national army involving the fine sons and daughters of workers and peasants, maintaining the historical continuity of revolutionary armed forces in army building and building a revolutionary army by relying on national strength and in Korean way, they stated. As it takes its historical root in the anti-Japanese tradition provided by the President and is guided by the Korean-style idea of building regular armed forces, the KPA has been able to demonstrate its might as an invincible revolutionary army for over 70 years since its founding while firmly preserving its revolutionary character, they emphasized.
Thanks to the outstanding leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the KPA has developed into an invincible army armed with the military strategy and tactics of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, heroic fighting spirit and perfect fighting efficiency to meet the characteristics of modern warfare and a revolutionary army with the strongest military capability in the world, they said.
They expressed their determination to make a tangible contribution to inspiring all the service personnel and people to give full play to the spirit of self-reliance and self-development in the present general offensive so as to win fresh victory on all fronts of building a powerful socialist country by remaining faithful to the idea and leadership of the Supreme Leader.
