The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the response to Republic of Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland; there has been a flare-up in fighting in the southern regions of the North African state of Libya; Equatorial Guinean President Teodoro Obiang Nguema has pledged to protect former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh who is residing in the country; and the presidents of Egypt and Sudan are holding talks on the sidelines of the 30th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to resolve differences among the two neighbors.
In the second hour we continue our focus on Paul Robeson commemorating the 42 anniversary of his transition in 1976.
Finally we again acknowledge the 89th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the 50th year of his martyrdom.
