Resistance Remains Steadfast Against IOF Infiltration Attempts of Gaza

By Al Mayadeen English

Israeli media report that 13 soldiers have been killed and 17 others were injured during attempts at invading Gaza.

Al-Qassam Brigades announced they had targeted an Israeli infantry unit in Beit Hanoun with a shell fired from a modified agri-drone in Beit Hanoun, the northern Gaza Strip, on the 26th day of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Furthermore, al-Qassam confirmed this morning that they destroyed an Israeli vehicle that had attempted to infiltrate east of al-Zeitoun neighborhood in southern Gaza.

On the Israeli side, Israeli media confirmed an increase in the casualties of Israeli soldiers during the attempts to infiltrate Gaza. 23 occupation soldiers were reportedly killed and 17 others were wounded, including 4 in critical condition.

Regarding the targeting of soldiers and military vehicles, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth pointed out that the primary threat to the Israeli forces lies in the anti-tank weapons possessed by the Palestinian resistance.

Yossi Yehoshua, the newspaper's military affairs expert, emphasized that the use of anti-tank weapons by the Resistance exacts a high price on the IOF, in addition to other threats, including sniping and the use of IEDs.

The newspaper reported that the names of 9 newly killed soldiers were recorded this morning. They were reportedly killed during attempts to infiltrate the Gaza Strip, where they faced intense resistance.

Seven Israeli soldiers fell due to injuries they had sustained from an anti-tank missile fired at an armored personnel carrier, while two others were killed in an explosion caused by an IED.

Earlier today, the IOF spokesperson reported that they had informed 326 families that their family members who were serving in the army had been killed since the onset of the war. They also announced that they had informed 240 families that their family members were being held captive.

Furthermore, Hamas announced that seven civilian captives were killed in Gaza (including three foreign passport holders) due to the Israeli bombardment of Jabalia refugee camp yesterday.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces claimed that they had hit 11,000 "military targets" belonging to the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip.

"Since the beginning of the war, the IDF [Israeli Occupation Forces] has struck over 11,000 targets belonging to terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip," a statement from the military said.

However, the Resistance has continued to fire a consistent amount of rockets toward occupation settlements, as Tuesday's barrages were heavily focused on "Gush Dan" and "Tel Aviv", around 80 km away from the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, the Resistance's defensive capabilities seem largely unaffected as fighters confront and repel Israeli occupation forces on multiple axes in the northern and northeastern parts of the Gaza Strip. The IOF also admitted that 11 soldiers were killed in Gaza on Tuesday while 17 others were injured.

On the other hand, Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades, said the group's fighters alone had destroyed 22 Israeli armored vehicles in less than a day. Reports also indicate that the Resistance was able to execute several ambushes, causing casualties among infantry forces.
